March 9, 2012 - Friday
Due to extreme laziness, I've decided to list down all the things we did on that day instead of writing a novel about them. teehee* Here goes:
1. Woke up at 6.00a.m. sharp.
2. Had breakfast at.....ummmm, I ain't got any idea what that place is called, but I do know it's something like China Town. Here's picture of it:
There you go! Now take a look at this street, it's scrupulously CLEAN, as if the Koreans here  have been spending most of their time digging in nooks and crannies for minuscule pieces of dirt.

3. Went to the Korean Traditional Culture Center and made our very own KIMCHI. But my kimchi turned out to be an epic failure. sniffs* And NO, I'm not planning to show you what kind of mess I made - it was a disaster on a plate! eeeeek*
Ingredients needed:
- 1 large Chinese cabbage
- 1 small head of garlic, peeled and finely minced
- 1 piece (6cm) of ginger, peeled and finely minced
- 1/4 cup (60ml) of fish sauce
- 1/3 cup (80ml) of chili paste or 1/2 cup (133ml) of Korean chili powder
- 2 green onions, cut them into 1-inch (3cm) each
- 1 Daikon radish, peeled and grated
- 1 teaspoon of honey or sugar
- 1/2 cup (100g) of coarse salt
- 1 gallon (4000ml) of water
   “Let’s make KIMCHI!”

4. After kimchi-making, we were dressed in these:
Oh man! My eyes were closed again.....God, I hate myself! :’( Anyway, that's my grandma, my sis, and me! I totally love the color of my Hanbok - it's GREEN. ♥ ♥ ♥

5. Had a taste-bud-tickling lunch. :)
Looks like a pot of putrid innards, doesn't it? But hey, don't judge a book by its cover (in this case - don't judge a food by its color). It's actually a combination of Korean hand-made rice cakes, marinated chicken strips and finely chopped cabbage tossed into my all-time favorite sauce - KIMCHI SAUCE.♥ ♥ ♥ This delectable dish is usually cooked on a giant hot plate, and that's me right there cooking up a storm...AND a gastronomic feast, not for the eyes, but for the hungry bellies.
Next stop on my list....
6. Took a 5-minute boat ride to Nami Island - the island where Winter Sonata was shot. Yes, that romantic Korean drama starring Bae Yong Jun and Choi Ji Woo. ♥ ♥ ♥
     Credits to me.
Credits to me.
  Credits to me, too!
Just ignore my ugly face people!
I know I look EXTREMELY HORRIBLE in this photo...sniffs*

Going on to number 6....
6. Had a piping hot dinner to burn down the freezers in our chests. You know what I mean......it was -18°c there. teeth chattering*
7. Checked into Sorak I-Park Resort.
8. Ate cup noodles for supper again.....tummy rumbling*
9. Went to bed earlier than usual - 11.30p.m.! Yes, that's really EARLY for me.

     That’s all for DAY 2!
